Elena Reyes
Hospitality Operations Strategist
Independent hospitality consultant focused on the boring numbers most hotels do not bother to track — door counts, dwell time, and ancillary-revenue capture.
Elena spent twelve years inside operations at full-service urban properties before going independent in 2019. Her last in-house role was head of operations at a 410-room downtown hotel where, by her own description, she became professionally obsessed with how badly the industry measures the people who walk through the building without a room key.
She now consults on lobby design, ancillary-revenue capture, and the small operational tweaks that move TRevPAR without requiring a renovation. Her quarterly newsletter on hospitality benchmarks runs on the assumption that data should be cheap enough to collect that you do not need a six-figure system to start.
