Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
What this is
We don't sell your personal information for money. But like most ad-supported sites, we use advertising cookies (for example, Google's) that can count as "selling" or "sharing" under California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws. This page is how you opt out.
How to opt out
You have a few options, and you can use more than one:
- Use a Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser. This is the easiest way and works automatically.
- Decline advertising cookies. Use the cookie/consent controls we present and your browser's cookie settings to refuse advertising cookies on this site.
- Manage it at the source. You can limit ad personalization directly through Google's Ads Settings and opt out of many ad networks via the DAA and NAI opt-out tools.
- Email us. Send a request to legal@digitaltallycounter.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share." We'll process it as required by law.
A few things to know
- Opt-out preferences set through cookies or GPC are specific to the browser and device you use, so you'll need to repeat them on each browser or device.
- If you clear your cookies, you may need to opt out again.
- Opting out does not remove all ads — it limits the use of your information for personalized (cross-context) advertising.
- You can also exercise your other privacy rights — access, deletion, correction, and portability — as described in our Privacy Policy.
- An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of authorization and to verify identity.
