Father Thomas Fitzgerald
Liturgical & Devotional Practice Educator
Retired Catholic theology educator writing on rosary, novena, and the small daily disciplines that make a devotional life.
Father Thomas spent thirty-two years teaching parish-level liturgy and lay catechesis. He retired from full-time teaching in 2022 and now writes and speaks independently on devotional practice — particularly on how lay practice has shifted as more of daily life has moved into the phone.
He is patient with technology, suspicious of anything that promises to replace prayer with an app, and quietly enthusiastic about anything that helps a working parent actually remember to pray a rosary on the train. His work is rooted in the conviction that counting beads is, and always has been, a humble piece of practical scaffolding.
