Does the job well
I coach a swim team and use this poolside. Reliable and quick. Adding a split timer feature alongside the counter would be the cherry on top.

Interesting concept
The TV overlay idea is creative. Took me a while to figure out how to set it up. Once running it looked fine on stream. Documentation could be clearer.
