Volleyball scoring questions
How does rally scoring work?
Under rally scoring, a point is awarded on every rally regardless of which team served. A set is won by the first team to 25 points with at least a two-point lead.
What happens at 24–24?
Play continues until one team leads by two — 26–24, 27–25, and so on. The scoreboard keeps going with no ceiling unless you set a cap.
How long is a match?
Matches are best of five sets — first to three sets wins. The deciding fifth set plays to 15 (still win by two), and teams switch sides when one reaches 8.
Can I track player stats?
Yes — turn on Stats Mode and tag each point as a kill, ace, block or opponent error. A per-player box score with hitting percentage is built as you go.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The scoreboard is designed for phones, tablets and desktops, and your match is saved in your browser so a refresh won't lose it.
