Q.01 How do I add the countries I’ve visited?
Three ways: tap a country on the map, tell the built-in assistant in plain language (“I went to Japan in March 2024”), or paste a flight or hotel confirmation and let it pull out the countries and dates for you.
Q.02 What does the map actually show?
Every country you’ve been to lights up, your trips draw as lines between them, and a timeline animation replays your travels in order. A running total shows how many countries — and what share of the world — you’ve seen, plus how many this year and this month.
Q.03 Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. Country Counter installs to your home screen as its own app and opens full-screen. In landscape it’s the map and the animation; in portrait it’s your places and your total at a glance.
Q.04 Does my travel history sync across devices?
Yes. Your places are saved to your account, so the same map and history show up on your phone, tablet, and laptop.
Q.05 Can I import from my email or calendar?
Today you can paste a confirmation or forward an itinerary, or drop a calendar (.ics) or CSV file, and the assistant turns it into trip entries. Automatic Gmail and Calendar scanning is on the way.
