Frequently asked.
The questions that come up most about counting two choices at once.
Q.01 What is a yes/no counter?
A yes/no counter is a two-button tally that keeps a separate running total for each choice — tap Yes when the answer is yes, No when it is no, and it counts both plus the combined total. It is the fastest way to tally a decision, a vote, or any two-way split without pen and paper.
Q.02 Can I rename the two buttons?
Yes. Open Settings and pick a preset — Yes/No, Agree/Disagree, Pass/Fail, or For/Against — or choose Custom to type any two labels and pick an icon for each. The counter works the same however you label the two sides.
Q.03 Is the yes/no counter free?
The browser-based counter is free — count on any phone, tablet, or computer with no download and no sign-up. Your tally saves on the device automatically. Optional Pro plans add cloud sync, shareable voting links, and ad-free mode.
Q.04 How do I collect votes from other people?
With Pro you can turn the counter into a shareable voting link: add a question, send the link, and each person casts one vote from their own device. Results tally live in your counter. You can try it with a one-day pass or subscribe monthly.
Q.05 Does it stop the same person voting twice?
A voting link allows one vote per device — it remembers each browser and also checks the device fingerprint, so casual double-voting is blocked. It is a quick poll, not a secured ballot: someone determined to vote again from a different device or after clearing their browser still can.
Q.06 Can voters see the results?
That is up to you. When you create a voting link you choose whether voters see the live tally after they vote, or whether results stay private to you.
Two choices. One tap each.
A yes/no counter that runs in any browser — for decisions, votes, and any two-way split.
